MOST REVEREND RENATO PINE MAYUGBA D.D.
The Most Rev. Renato Pine Mayugba, D.D was born on December 4, 1955. He is one of the blessed priest-sons of Mr. Simeon Mayugba and Mrs. Patrocincio Bince Pine. He finished his secondary level of education at the Mary Help of Christians Minor Seminary, Bimmaley, Pangasinan. With a firm conviction to continue his chosen vocation, he decided to enter at the Immaculate Conception Major Seminary, Vigan City Ilocos Sur, wherein he took AB Philosophy as his major course. After his philosophical studies, he also continued his studies for Bachelor in Sacred Theology at the same school. He was ordained to the priesthood on April 25, 1981 at the Cathedral of St. John Evangelist in Dagupan City.
Two years after his ministry as a parochial vicar of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Calasiao, Pangasinan, he was assigned for three years as Rector of Pre-College Seminary in Bonuan Gueset, Dagupan City. On the year 1985, he was sent to Rome to take up his licentiate studies for Moral Theology. After finishing the course, he was assigned as a seminary formator of the Immaculate Conception School of Theology where he held the positions of being a dean for three years, a SFY Director for two years and Rector for six years. For eleven years he faithfully spent his life as priest-formator in ICST. He was also three year appointed as the Rector of Mary Help of Christians College Seminary, Bonuan Gueset Dagupan.
On December 27, 2005 he was ordained to the episcopacy and installed as the Auxilliary Bishop of Lingayen-Dagupan. he is now actively taking care of the pastoral ministry as guided by his motto: The Smoldering wick, He will not Quench.
