MOST REVEREND MARLO MENDOZA PERALTA D.D.
Most Reverend Marlo Mendoza Peralta is a native of San Carlos City, Pangasinan. He was born on July 13, 1950. He finished his elementary education at San Carlos Central School. His secondary education was at the Mary Help of Christians Minor Seminary, Binmaley, Pangasinan. On his determination to follow God’s call, he decided to continue his seminary formation at the Immaculate Conception Major Seminary where he took Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy as his preparatory course. On the year 1971, he continued studying his theological formation and earned the degree Bachelor of Sacred Theology in the year 1975. Ha was ordained a priest on March 31, 1975 by the late Most Reverend Archbishop Federico Limon of the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan.
Since the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan was still considered as the Mother Church of Pangasinan during this time, and separated dioceses had not yet been formally introduced, the Most Rev. Limon assigned Fr, Marlo then was in the western part of Pangasinan after 10 years of parish exposure, he was transferred to the eastern part of Pangasinan and this time it has already under the territorial jurisdiction of the Diocese of Urdaneta, as recognized by the Holy See. He served as parish priest in various Catholic churches in Urdaneta Pangasinan for almost 25 years and held different administrative assignments in schools and in the diocese as well.
On April 28, 2006, he was canonically installed as the co-adjutor Bishop of Alaminos. Inspired by his motto “Peace to All Men”, he had seen his role as collaborator, with the Most Rev. Jesus A. Cabrera, the Clergy, Religious and Lay Faithful. He is presently assigned to serve the local church of Alaminos pursuing the vision-mission: the Diocese as Christ’s Community of Disciples.
